Notes: This was kind of like a homecoming show for Jeff, who grew up in nearby Ruston, Louisiana, and he mentions that both his mom and sister are in attendance.
The recording sounds pretty clear, but badly overloads in the loud parts.
e6townhall member gardenfuck passed on the following information about the recording: Technically speaking, it is an audience recording and a soundboard hybrid. They had a mixing board in the back and mixed the soundboard live and incorporated a room mic into the mix. So, what you got there is definitely not an audience tape. They mixed it in the back so the levels are not the simple front-of-house mix. Also, it was mixed live to DAT. Where did you get your copy of this show? I'm willing to bet that the copies of the show came from a cassette copy I made from the DAT. Obviously, now is NOT the most ideal time for me to try and find the original DAT, but I think I know where to find it if it was not ruined in the flood. By the way, that was an amazing show. Hot damn!
